WhiskAI is committed to protecting the privacy of its visitors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits the site, regardless of country.

What we collect

WhiskAI does not require accounts and does not collect personal information through registration, sign-up forms, or any persistent identifier we control. The only information processed automatically by our servers is standard request logs containing the requested URL, time of request, response status, IP address (truncated for analytics retention), browser user-agent string, and referring page. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for the purposes of operational monitoring, security, and rate-limit enforcement.

We do not run server-side analytics platforms such as Google Analytics. We do not place tracking cookies of our own. We do not embed third-party social pixels.

localStorage

The site uses browser localStorage to remember the last city you viewed. This allows the persistent header countdown to display the next prayer time for your chosen city across pages. The data stored is the city slug, today's prayer times, and today's date — nothing is transmitted to our servers, and the data is removed automatically the day after it is stored.

Advertising

WhiskAI may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve advertisements based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve advertisements to our users based on their visit to our site and other sites on the internet. Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, advertising consent is governed by Google's Funding Choices consent framework, which is presented as a banner the first time you visit. You may withdraw consent at any time through that interface.

Third-party services

The site loads JavaScript and font assets from a small set of trusted third-party content delivery networks: Tailwind CSS (cdn.tailwindcss.com), Lucide Icons (unpkg.com), and Google AdSense scripts. WhiskAI is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete the information.
